Event Description
You may have heard of the word prehabilitation or ‘prehab’
Prehabilitation or ‘prehab’ can help people with cancer to prepare physically and mentally for cancer treatment. It is a programme of support and advice to help people prepare for treatment, often with a focus on physical activity, nutrition and emotional wellbeing
We would like to learn more about how we can best support people with cancer to prepare for treatment. This work will help to produce recommendations that may shape future services.
No previous experience or knowledge of prehabilitation is needed!
To participate you must have:
- Experience of being diagnosed and treated for cancer.
- Received cancer treatment in South East London (under Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust or Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust)
